Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using VRASS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of VRASS.

2. Not a medical device

VRASS is a clinical productivity tool, not a medical device, clinical decision support system, or diagnostic aid.

• !VRASS does not interpret images, generate diagnoses, or provide clinical recommendations.
• !Any auto-generated report text is a drafting aid only. It must be reviewed, verified, and approved by the qualified radiologist before the report is issued.
• !The radiologist issuing the report is solely and fully responsible for its clinical accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.
• !VRASS must not be used as the sole basis for any clinical decision.

3. Eligibility and use

VRASS is designed for qualified radiologists, radiology residents, fellows, and radiology faculty. By using VRASS you confirm that:

• –You are a qualified or training medical professional using VRASS for legitimate clinical reporting or practice purposes.
• –You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• –You will not use VRASS for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• –You will not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.

4. Patient data and privacy compliance

You are responsible for complying with all applicable patient privacy laws and institutional data governance policies in your jurisdiction when using VRASS.

• ✓Patient metadata entered in VRASS (name, MRN, age/sex, study type, referring physician) is stored only in your own Supabase account under row-level security. It is not accessible to VRASS or any other user.
• ✓Patient metadata is temporarily used for print and export. Printed or exported files are saved to your local device only and are not transmitted to VRASS servers.
• ✓No patient data is ever sent to third-party providers. Only your clinical findings text is included in generation prompts.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of all reports, templates, and content you create in VRASS. By using the Service, you grant VRASS a limited licence to store and serve that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. VRASS does not use your report content for any purpose other than operating your account.

6. Third-party integrations

If you connect a third-party API key to VRASS, you are responsible for your use of that provider's service, including compliance with their terms and any costs incurred. VRASS is not responsible for the output, availability, or pricing of any third-party provider.

7. Feature availability

The VRASS workspace and its features are provided to registered users. VRASS may update, adjust, or extend available features at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Service availability

VRASS is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability, including disruption to reporting workflows.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. VRASS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or patient harm arising from use of or inability to use the Service. In all cases, VRASS's maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

Accounts that violate these Terms may be suspended or terminated without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting info@paperlibrary.org. All associated data is permanently removed within 30 days of a deletion request.

11. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
